Beginning Monday, May 4, the shelter will adjust its public hours to a later daily opening time and introduce extended hours on Saturdays. This change will provide additional time each morning for cleaning and animal care, while also increasing availability for adoptions and reclaims on Saturdays.

To minimize any impact on service to residents, phone hours will remain unchanged (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.), and Field Services operations will continue on their regular schedule.

As a reminder, a veterinarian is not onsite on Saturdays or Sundays. All sick or injured animals will continue to be directed to our emergency veterinary partners during those times.
