President’s Message

Hello Pinellas Colleagues,

Thank you to those that had the opportunity to attend last month’s dinner and meeting for sharing what your happy place or activity is for each of you. It never fails to impress how diverse a group we have both in age and experience, but what brings each of us happiness. As we rush through spring and summer quickly approaching, I hope that each of you finds time for selfcare, decompression and doing what truly makes our hectic but rewarding jobs worthwhile to you.
The rest of the board and I are continuing to strive to find new ways to bring information and value to the group. This takes the form of updates on current legislation like House Bill 89 regarding providing pre- scription, valuable updated best practices from specialists at our monthly meetings, and always looking for new ways to provide professional and personal support for our members and community as veterinarians. Stay tuned for future ideas being explored, and please take the time to enjoy what brings each of you happiness and peace.
